Campus Description
NYACK offers two ethnically and culturally diverse campuses in the New York metropolitan area. The Nyack, NY, campus is just twenty-five miles north of Times Square; the New York City campus is located in lower Manhattan. Students may study at either or both of these dynamic campuses. Numerous state and local parks and places of interest are within the surrounding area, and three major airports are within one hour's drive. The Nyack, NY, campus is located in a suburban center of 20,000. The campus was established in 1897 and the majority of the 40 buildings are located on 87 acres overlooking the historic Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge. All undergraduate and graduate majors are offered at the Nyack, NY campus which approximately 1,300 students attend. The Village of Nyack, a charming and secluded community known for its restaurants, antique and specialty shops, is nearby. The New York City commuter campus was established in 1995. Most graduate and undergraduate programs are offered at the New York City campus and about 1,000 students attend the campus. Nyack currently offers more than 40 majors.
